Clinical Psychology Therapy Service

Our therapy service is provided by Clinical Psychologists, who are trained to support adult and child clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental needs, including anxiety, low mood, attachment, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, and emotion regulation. We offer therapeutic support for both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals and families and liaise with schools, workplaces and other services where appropriate.

This therapeutic service differs from counselling-level support, as clinical psychology offers a more in-depth therapeutic approach, often drawing on different evidence-based models tailored to each individual.

Therapy usually starts with an initial assessment - this is typically a 90 minute appointment. This appointment allows us to assess what is going on for the client, to understand their developmental history, assess experiences of trauma, their strengths and challenges and make a plan for therapeutic support.

The initial assessment costs £150 and subsequent therapy sessions cost £100 per appointment.

If you have private health insurance, some or all of the sessions may be covered—depending on the provider and policy.
